i. Eligible age for admission in each class
K1: 1 September 2022 to 31 December 2023
K2: 1 September 2021 to 31 December 2022
K3: 1 September 2020 to 31 December 2021
ii. Date of submission of application form

*Only applicants who completed all admission procedures will be invited for interview.

iv. Interview arrangement
Applicants will receive interview details by mail in Mid-October. Due to a large number of interviews, our school will be unable to reschedule any interview. If applicants are absent from interview on scheduled date, the applications will be automatically withdrawn. According to the guidelines of EDB, applications fees are non-refundable.
v. Interview results and Registration
Applicants will be notified about the results by mail before Mid-December. Upon receipt of admission notification, parents are required to submit Registration Certificate for KG Admission and pay registration fee(Half-day class: HKD 970 and Whole-day class: HKD 1570) to our school to complete the registration procedure during the specified time of Centralised Registration Dates (8 Jan to 10 Jan 2026). If parents cannot hand in effective registration documents during the registration period, our school might not be able to process the registration for the applicant, the place allocated will be withdrawn. If there is a vacancy, our school will contact the prospective student by phone and arrange to complete the registration for admission.
Application for Withdrawal of Study after registration：
Please notify our school by letters or emails, we will contact you to collect the Registration Certificate for KG Admission. However, the registration fee will not be refunded.
vi. Admission process
~ Applicants may be accompanied by one parent, and will participate in an individual interview with a teacher.
~ When necessary, our school allows parents and applicants to be accompanied by a Chinese speaking relative/friend during the interview so as to facilitate communication.
vii. Admission criteria
~ Applicant's individual performance on the day of interview, i.e. manners and politeness, discipline and compliance, curiosity towards surroundings, participation and involvement in activities...
~ Parents who share the same educational philosophy and learning approach as the school.
~ Priority consideration will be given to the following applicants:
- Children of current employees in kindergarten, primary and secondary sections.
- Applicants with siblings currently enrolled in or graduated from our schools
- Children of our alumni members
~ When considering applications for Whole-day class, our school will give due priority to families that require the services.
As the number of school places is limited, not all applicants meeting the requirements will be guaranteed a school place.
viii. Support to Non-Chinese Speaking Students
~ Provide basic school information in both Chinese and English
~ Transltion will be provided for Non-Chinese speaking families during the interview.
~ Important school circulars will be translated into English
~ Facilitate professional development for teachers to develop effective strategies for helping Non-Chinese speaking students to learn Chinese

Our school has joined Kindergarten Education Scheme.

5. P1 Admission of The True Light Primary School
~ K3 students are required to apply for and pass the interview in The True Light Middle School of Hong Kong (Primary Section) to be offered a place and be promoted to primary one in our school.
~ Once your child is registered in The True Light Middle School of Hong Kong (Primary Section) for primary one, participation in the Education Bureau Central Allocation for primary one is not allowed. Participation in the Education Bureau Central Allocation will result in withdrawal of your child’s place in our primary section.
